Mushroom John Allen is a well known figure in the mushroom community. An active member of the Shroomery forums for many years. Always contributing valuable insights and knowledge on all things related to mushrooms.

His expertise in mycology and cultivation techniques has made him a respected figure within the community. John traveled the world in search of new strains, Often bringing groups of people on mushroom foraging tours in Thailand.

He has written over 14 books on Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms and other fungi.

Allen’s love for mushrooms is evident. It is always appreciated when he shares his experiences, with the different strains of cubensis spores he has collected. As well as countless other species of magic mushrooms and all fungi.

His passion for teaching others the benefits and uses of mushrooms has made him an icon in the community. A truly great man.

Origins of John Allen Cubensis.

• John is credited with the discovery of several strains of Cubensis mushrooms that are still in existence today. His work in the field of mycology has been instrumental in advancing our understanding of these fungi. Furthermore Allen’s contributions include bringing back spores of various Cubensis strains, from Thailand and South America. Which have since been cultivated and studied by researchers around the world.

• The John Allen mushroom spores we have today, were created by another mycologist. Using a spore print gifted to them from John Allen. They named the spores after John to honor his efforts. Thus the John Allen strain was born.
